Project art works - The Assimilator
Daniel started building The Assimilator in April 2023 and completed it in January 2025. He
transformed a high-street mannequin into a cosmic weapon of conquest using a range of
materials: cardboard, building scraps, recycled tins and clothes, rope, clay, ping-pong
balls, insulation, and electronic lights—all lovingly shaped with Stanley blades, glued
together using glue guns, and spray-painted. Daniel imagined this particular Cyberman
model as a hybrid of Cybermen and Daleks, created during an invasion of the Dalek home
world, Skaro.
